Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen,

S1
first let me say a few words about the Methodological Portal (RVP.CZ) where I work as a coordinator of Czech version of Open Educational Resources (OER).
S2
The Methodological portal RVP.CZ was established by the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. Since January 2012 it has been managed as a department task by the National Institute for Education, by counselling facilities and by the Institute for Further Education for Teachers, Weilova street 1271/6, 102 00 Prague 10.

The Methodological Portal aims to be the main reference for Czech primary and secondary school teachers, an online platform where they can get inspired and share experience.  Methodological portal was established as the main methodological support for teachers and to help implementation of national curriculum in schools. Its purpose was to create environment in which teachers inspire and inform each other about their experience. The methodological portal is based on diversity, complexity, guarantee, quality of the content and innovation. Directors and teachers in nursery schools, primary schools, special schools, primary art schools, grammar schools, secondary vocational schools and schools with state language exam are offered experience from individual teachers and schools through electronic media. The information is mostly about how to create different parts of the School Education Program (ŠVP - SEP), how to innovate their own teaching and how to cope with development and assessment of key competencies and other information on specialized topics.
S4
This support to teachers is offered through various tools - modules (articles, DUM, discussion, etc..), which we might call the repository - a database of materials.

Another goal of the Methodological portal, in addition to collecting and building individual modules - the storage, and also the  presentation of all types of theoretical and practical contributions, was from the beginning to provide a forum for teachers to confront their views and experiences among themselves. It is for example the discussion module and blog module, but also the possibility to rate and comment certain materials.
S7
The target group, as viewed by users and authors, consists notably of headmasters of schools and their teachers. The main cooperating organizations are pilot schools, other organizations directly managed by the Ministry of Education, NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) and non-governmental service providers.
S8
As has been said I work as a coordinator of modul DUM (Digitální Učební Materiály; dum.rvp.cz), which are commonly spread Czech version of Open Educational Resources (OER) made by teachers for teachers (not made by professionals!). DUM are available in the electronic form and directly usable in the classroom without further modifications. DUM are primarily composed of worksheets and presentations and audio and video samples. The main objective is to activate students.
S9
All the DUM pass through expert reviews of experienced and indipendent reviewers, then of course followed by proofreading. In particular my work consists in editing and proofreading of submitted materials, in comunicating with authors, reviewers and users. I am also responsible for the control of the evaluation of submitted materials - rating scale goes from one (very weak) to five stars (outstanding). The evaluation of reviewers depends on different factors like content accuracy, didactic suitability, originality, quality of workmanship and graphic design, accuracy of the citations and so on.
S10
Most of the materials are written in Czech language and for Czech pupils and students. Materials are categorized by levels of education and then by curicullar documents.
S11
As regards the technical specifications, system of the modul DUM (and also modul Články) was managed internally and wasn´t outsourced. The module was created in the open-source project Zend Framework. All the DUM are published under the Creative Commons licence and published in a common format (Microsoft) and open format (OO.o). Number of visitors to the module DUM reaches 35,073 unique visitors per week (in the 2nd half of 2013).
